Beach clean-up Saturday
MARQUETTE — The Superior Watershed Partnership is hosting a clean-up walking event along the city multi-use path that runs parallel to Lakeshore Boulevard from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, beginning at Clark Lambros’ Beach Park and ending at McCarty’s Cove.
This event is open to the public. The clean-up will be held rain or shine, participated are asked to dress accordingly. The SWP will provide trash bags and work gloves, but individuals may bring their own work gloves.
