MARQUETTE–The police school of instruction conducted here for the last two weeks for city, state, and county officers by Captain William Cross, of Highland Park, was concluded yesterday afternoon and today Captain Cross will go to Escanaba to open a similar school. From Escanaba he will go to Sault Ste. Marie, he said yesterday. “I am well satisfied with the results of our school here in Marquette,” Captain Cross declared. “I am certain that officers who attended the daily sessions were keenly interested in the undertaking and earnestly tried to learn as much as possible. The attendance was regular and the nature of questions asked by the officers and comments they made to me during the two weeks convince me that they were really interested.
