DNR advisory council to meet

MARQUETTE — The Michigan Department of Natural Resources’ Western Upper Peninsula Citizens’ Advisory Council will meet virtually in a web conference from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday.

This council session is being held virtually in response to the coronavirus pandemic.

Among the agenda items, discussions are scheduled to include updates on the U.P. Deer Habitat Workgroup, land strategy, school forest program, small game, waterfowl and bear hunting season projections. The public can participate in the session by offering comments or questions in advance or by attending the virtual meeting.
