Bissell helps with UPAWS pets

GWINN — Looking for a new best friend?

Thanks to the Bissell Pet Foundation, from Oct. 1-4 you can add a new pet to your life for $25 or less at the Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter. There will be:

≤ $25 adoption fees for dogs and cats (6 months to 8 years).

≤ Free adoption fees for dogs and cats (8 years on up).

≤ Free adoption fees for small critters

Your new pet will be spayed or neutered, microchipped, health checked and up to date with vaccinations. UPAWS has many wonderful pets that are looking for love and a new home, according to a release from the shelter. If you are interested in possibly adopting, they are by appointments for all services.

Check out the available pets on the website www.upaws.org and fill out an Interest Form:

Animal Interest Form

Then UPAWS will contact you to discuss your Interest Form and set up an appointment. UPAWS is located at 815 S. M553, Gwinn. Call 906-475-6661.
