MARQUETTE — Everyone is invited to “Come Catch the Christmas Spirit” in Marquette Township at the Tree Lighting Ceremony from 6-8:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The event will be in the Westwood Mall parking lot between Applebee’s and Aspen Dental.

Carols begin at 6 p.m. with Santa arriving on a Marquette Township Fire Truck at 6:30 p.m. to light the tree.

Santa will be in the Westwood Mall until 8:30 pm. to take photos with kids. Listen to seasonal music sung by da Upper Yoopers Barbershop Chorus on the stage and in the mall. Free cookies, juice, hot dogs, brats, water and hot cocoa will be available. Will the Grinch steal Christmas? The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office will be standing by…
