MARQUETTE — Beginning at 7 a.m. today, Arch Street, between Lakeshore Boulevard and Coast Guard Road, will be closed to through traffic for Phase 1 reconstruction work.

This is the first phase of three phases. This phase is expected to last five weeks.

The Arch Street work will detour traffic going to the Maritime Museum by means of Michigan Street to Coast Guard Road. The public is advised to use caution when traveling through this area and to be alert for construction, detour and advisory signing.
