At 1 p.m. Saturday in the Westwood High School Auditorium, nine girls will compete for the title of Miss Independence 2018. These girls, ages 5-10, will all be performing a dance, doing a personal introduction, answering an on-stage interview question, doing a formal-wear walk, and most importantly, having a lot of fun. In addition, dancers from the New Attitudes Dance Studio Competition Team will provide entertainment. Tickets are available at the door and cost $10 for adults and $5 for children.
