MARQUETTE — Due to the Lake Superior ice pack, both Cinder Pond and Presque Isle marinas in Marquette will remain closed until crews can gain access to do seasonal repairs, a city press release states.

Cinder Pond Marina office will open beginning today from 10 a.m.to 6 p.m. City staff will evaluate conditions on an ongoing basis and future updates will be made available on the city’s website: https://www.marquettemi.gov/departments/community-services/parks-and-recreation/marinas.
