MARQUETTE — With fall comes changing leaves, pumpkin-spiced everything, and of course — Marquette’s Haunted Hayride.

This year’s event is set for 7:30-9:30 p.m. on Oct. 16 and 7:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Oct. 17-18 at the Marquette County Fairgrounds, 715 M-553 in Gwinn.

“Marquette’s Haunted Hayride is a tractor drawn hayride which weaves through the Marquette County ‘Scare’grounds,” reads the website. “The ride is filled with terror and surprise, fun and laughter. As you travel through the cold darkness, be warned that the unexpected may be lurking at every turn and behind each and every tree there may be an eerie encounter to greet you. Once you get off the tractor trailer, you then get to meander through the haunted barns. BEWARE!”

Tickets for the event go on sale on Oct. 1 and can be purchased by following the link at www.marquetteshauntedhayride.com.
