SCHOOLCRAFT — Police confirm that Tim Lawrence, last seen on Aug. 30, has been found deceased. His sister, Angela Lawrence, announced that he was found at 10 p.m. Monday night.

“It is with great sadness that I tell you my brother, Tim Lawrence, has been found,” said Angela Lawrence in a social media post. “He has passed on. I cannot express how grateful I am to this community. You all helped share and get the word out in a way that I could not. Your prayers, your thoughts, have helped our family in this trying time. I will always remember the area as kind, considerate, and very caring. Thank you all very much.”

The Michigan State Police from the Gladstone post, who previously assisted in the search, could not be reached for comment.
