ISHPEMING — The city of Ishpeming has announced that hours of operation for Ishpeming City Hall and the Department of Public Works will be adjusted during the summer in an effort to better accommodate residents during typical work hours.

Beginning Monday and running through Aug. 29, Ishpeming City Hall will operate from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday. The DPW will be open from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

These changes are intended to make city services more accessible to the public during the summer months. Offices will remain closed on Fridays during this period.

Residents in need of DPW assistance after regular business hours should call 1-888-223-2734.
