Marquette Police and Sands Township Fire and EMS respond to a two-car accident on Silver Creek Road in Marquette that resulted in no injuries on Thursday. Significant damage was sustained to one of the cars resulting in a tow truck being called; the other vehicle was cleared by authorities. According to Fire Chief Tom Wahlstrom, the accident was the result of winter weather road conditions. He warned drivers to slow down on slick roads to stay safe.
