MARQUETTE — The Marquette Township Board will consider a proposed contract offer for township manager candidate Thomas Markus during a virtual meeting tonight at 6:30.

The board voted unanimously on May 11 to select Markus as the township’s new manager, contingent upon a successful background check and contractual negotiations.

The board will also consider a proposed Noquemanon Trail Network connector at Schwemwood Park tonight as well as ballot language for a proposed Peter White Public Library millage.
