NEGAUNEE — A juvenile has been charged with a felony following a police investigation into an alleged threat at Negaunee Middle School.

The Negaunee Police Department received a complaint Tuesday that a threat of school violence had been made at the Negaunee school.

Following an investigation of the complaint, a juvenile has been charged with false report or threat of terrorism, a 20-year felony.

Police said the suspect’s name will not be released due to the person’s age and no additional information will be released at this time.
