PWPL offers virtual programming
MARQUETTE — Although Peter White Public Library is closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it will strive to continue bringing programming to youth and families through Facebook and YouTube.
A recorded read-aloud of “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” will air from 7 to 7:30 p.m. daily through Thursday.
“Unicorn Diaries #1: Bo’s Magical New Friend” recorded read-aloud will take place from 1 to 1:30 p.m. today. Today, Thursday, and April 7 and 9, a Facebook Live storytime will occur from 10 to 10:20 a.m.
There will be a Facebook Live DIY Pop-Up Cards session from 3 to 3:15 p.m. today.
Facebook Live storytime will resume from 11 to 11:20 a.m. Wednesday and April 8. Wednesdays’ storytime is geared toward children 5 years old and up, organizers said.
The recorded read-aloud of “Diaries of a Pug #1: Pug Blasts Off” will air 1 to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.
“Mo Willems Storytime!” will go Facebook Live from 10 to 10:30 a.m Friday. Friday’s programming will also feature a Facebook Live DIY Water Color Craft tutorial from 1 to 1:15 p.m.
