Electronics recycling offered

MARQUETTE — There will be an electronics kick-off event from 4 to 8 p.m. June 16 and 10 to 3 p.m. June 17 at the Sands Township Recycling and Transfer Station, located at 987 S. M-553. Accepted at no charge will be computers, printers, cables, cords, wires, keyboards, computer mice, stereo equipment, DVD/CD players, satellite tuner boxes, routers and other miscellaneous items. Master Plan Workshop offered

MARQUETTE — The city of Marquette will hold two Master Plan workshops to gather the community’s ideas related to potential development sites. MSU to honor shooting victims with memorial

EAST LANSING (AP) — Michigan State University said it will use approximately $300,000 in donations to create a memorial to honor students who were killed or wounded in a mass shooting in February.
