Fun at the farm
Father Marquette Catholic Academy 2nd - 4th-grade students visited Jo-Kay Corral in Negaunee on Sept. 28. The FMCA Elementary Students had wonderful fall weather on their visit, getting the chance to learn from the owners about the commitment and hard work a family farm requires. Students took a tractor ride around the farm, played on a tower and net, fed their chickens, and pet the rest of their animals, from sheep and horses to pigs and kittens. “I’m in goat heaven!” one of the 4th graders was heard saying.
