MARIGOLD MANIA

Annual planting involved Lakeview fourth graders

Marigold Mania 2021 took place Wednesday, with four classes of fourth graders planting flowers at the Miners Park in Negaunee. They each came from Lakeview school with the plants that they had started in the greenhouse, organizers said. “Each year the students do this project as partners with the Negaunee Beautification Committee,” Anna Mattson of the Negaunee Beautification Committee wrote in an email. “The weather was perfect and the rain showed up overnight. Another great year.” (Photos courtesy of Anna Mattson)
