MARQUETTE — At 7 p.m. Aug. 17, the Peter White Public Library will host its last Musical Interludes — LIVE! on the library’s Front Street steps.

The guests for this informal interview/performance are two members of the All Strings Considered, old-time stringband, Phil and Annette Watts. Learn about how they met, how their band got started, and what draws them to the traditional music that they play. Then listen to them perform a selection of less familiar songs of the Original Carter Family.

The All Strings Considered CD “…Better Than It Sounds” will also be available for purchase.

Bring a chair or blanket to sit on to enjoy this event. Attendees are requested to wear masks and follow social distancing guidelines.

A rain date has been set for Aug. 18 at 7 p.m.
