MARQUETTE — MooseWood Nature Center will host a pottery-throwing workshop from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Air-dry clay will be provided, so participants may take home their creations. Pottery also will be available to purchase, with all proceeds benefiting MooseWood.

All ages are welcome. Youth under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

During the event, 6-foot social distancing and mask wearing will be required. Participants must bring their own masks.

If there is enough interest, the event will be continued into the fall.
