MARQUETTE — The League of Women Voters of Marquette County continues its important work this summer. Meetings have moved to the “Zoom” cloud-based service currently. Participants do not need a Zoom account and can easily join the meetings.

The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization that encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.

The next meeting will be from 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 10. All current members will receive email reminders with a Zoom invitation and an agenda. Other community members are also invited to attend and can do so by reaching out prior to the meeting via email to: dthomsona@gmail.com
