MARQUETTE — Haley Brkic of Marquette and Grant Holmstrom of Hancock announce their engagement.

Haley is the daughter of Janelle Brkic and Kevin McDonough of Marquette and Darren Brkic and Nicole Brkic of Tennessee.

Grant is the son of Ted and Kayleen Holmstrom of Hancock.

The bride-to-be is a 2014 graduate of Negaunee High School and attended Northern Michigan University and Grand Valley State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in 2020. She is employed at the PEIF in Marquette.

The groom-to-be is a 2013 graduate of Hancock Central HIgh School and earned a bachelors degree from Finlandia University in 2017. He is serving with the Michigan Army National Guard in Calumet.

A July 25 wedding is planned.
