MARQUETTE — From 9:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, an introductory workshop to Tai Chi Chuan will be held at the Hope Connection Center, 927 W. Fair Ave., Marquette.

The workshop is sponsored by the Cedar Tree Institute, a nonprofit organization that provides services and initiates projects in the areas of mental health, religion, and the environment.

This month’s facilitators are Jon and Diana Magnuson and there will be insights provided into body structure, breathing, and mind/body connections.

A nutritious light brunch is included in the workshop format. Cost is $27. No prior experience is necessary.
