ISHPEMING — Tonight’s Ishpeming High School boys basketball home games against Gwinn have been postponed due to the death on Wednesday evening or early this morning of Modeltowners’ high school varsity football coach Dion Brown.

The junior varsity basketball game was scheduled for 5:45 p.m. with the varsity game to follow.

Ishpeming schools’ athletic director Terry Roberts said no makeup date has been determined yet.

Gwinn Area Community School Superintendent Sandra Petrovich said this morning that no determination has been made on other Gwinn sporting events scheduled for this week.
