Special Olympics — The 2020 Upper Peninsula Winter Games for Special Olympics Michigan Area 36 are taking place n Marquette. The public is invited to watch the following events: 1-1:30 p.m. Opening Ceremonies at Rippling River Resort ; 1:30-3:30 p.m. Sport Competitions at Rippling River and Marquette Mountain; and 3:30-4:30 p.m. Award Ceremonies at Alpine Room at Marquette Mountain. The athletes and coaches will be participating in activities/events before and after the competition.
