MARQUETTE — Foreign Flicks, a program dedicated to contemporary films from around the world, presents the 2017 crime mystery thriller “The Girl in the Fog” at 6 p.m. Monday in the Peter White Public Library’s Community Room. This is a BYO dinner event.

Shortly before Christmas, 15-year-old Anna Lou disappears on her way to church. Runaway or victim? It is up to Detective Vogel to find out. This Italian film directed by Donato Carrisi (in Italian with English subtitles) is rated PG-13 and runs for 128 minutes.

“The Girl in the Fog” received three awards including two Italian Golden Globes: one for best actor and one for best screenplay.
