New Points syringe service program — New Points syringe service program provides harm reduction services including fresh injection supplies and the disposal of used works for individuals who inject substances. Cabaret — Northern Michigan University’s School of Music, Theatre and Dance will present a holiday cabaret of musical and dance performances from a variety of bonafide holiday classics at the Northern Center. The event begins with a 5:30 p.m. cocktail hour preceding a plated dinner of chicken and beef or vegan/vegetarian. Performances will be featured at 7 p.m. and the evening will end with dessert and a holiday sing-along. Tickets for all of the above are $40 for the general public and $25 for NMU students. Feeding America Mobile Food Truck — will be distributing food at the NorthIron Church parking lot from 9:30-10:30 a.m. This will be a drive-through pick up. Enter at the west entrance and exit onto Malton Road to allow the distribution to go smoothly. Registration will take place in the parking lot, unless weather is bad, in which case registration will be in the building. Cars are asked to be parked facing Ishpeming. For those who will be walking or using wheelchairs, the pick up will be in the Ishpeming VFW Parking lot along Bank Street at 9:30 a.m. They will not give items to anyone who goes to the VFW in a vehicle. This is the last distribution until May 2020.

Chair yoga — Chair yoga is offered at the Gwinn Clubhouse at 10 a.m. $2 donation goes to library fund. Call 346-2117 for more information.
