Holly Jolly Jubilee in Ishpeming
ISHPEMING — Everyone is invited to join the Friends of the Ishpeming Carnegie Public Library between 1-3 p.m. Saturday for the second annual Holly Jolly Jubilee.
Children are invited to visit with Santa while their parents take photos in the Leverton Room on the lower level. Also on the lower level there will be holiday music with Jim Janofski as well as a children’s craft and refreshments.
On the main floor patrons will have many opportunities to purchase special items, highlighted by vintage collectible books donated by FOL member Judy Conrad.
Of particular interest are Little Leather Library and Big Little Books. “Gift quality” used books will be on sale at a special price. The latest FOL recipe book will be offered for the first time as well as 2020 historic Ishpeming calendars and notecards of local landmarks. Local landmarks are also featured on the 10 different ornaments that are now available.
Finally, there will be “gently used” holiday items decorating the library that will be offered at very reasonable prices.
