‘Bookshop’ to be screened at PWPL

MARQUETTE — Bring a lunch and get together with other movie lovers to watch “The Bookshop” at 12:30 p.m. Thursday in the Peter White Public Library’s Community Room on the lower level of the library.

Closed captioning will be on to ensure access for all.

Note that while the time remains the same, Matinee Movies will now be shown on Thursdays at the library.

Recently widowed Florence Green decides to move on with her life by opening a bookshop.

Unfortunately, she meets a lot of resistance which causes her to question whether the bookshop is worth the trouble.

Starring Emily Mortimer, Bill Nighy and Hunter Tremayne, this 2017 drama is rated PG and runs 113 minutes. There is no admission fee thanks to sponsorship by the Friends of the Peter White Public Library.
