They were united in marriage in Franklin Park, Illinois.

In June 1975 they moved to Munising to run and operate the Alger Falls Motel.

Both are retired motel owners of the Alger Falls Motel in Munising, a property which is still in the family. Currently they enjoy golfing, traveling and hanging out with their family.

They have two daughters, Brenda Walther and Julie Johnson, as well has three grandchildren.

A dinner party in their honor was held at Tracey’s Restaurant in Munising with family and friends.
