Gearbusters –The West End Gearbusters High School Robotics Team is holding a fundraising dinner from 4-7 p.m. at the Negaunee Elks Lodge. Proceeds will be used to help pay for costs and entry fees during the Gearbusters’ upcoming F.I.R.S.T. Robotics season. The dinner will include spaghetti, salad, garlic bread, drinks, and dessert. Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for seniors and students and kids under 5 are free. There will also be a raffle for several gift certificates and items which have been donated by local businesses.

Piano fundraiser — various local pianists will present a concert at Kaufman Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. The concert will be a fundraiser for the Kaufman piano restoration and will feature pianists Jan Brodersen, Robert Buchkoe, Lynne Lanczy, Nancy Railey, and Nancy Zimmerman, along with Erika Waite and dancers and Connie Weiner violinist.
