Bryce and Eden Laase-Derouin

BARK RIVER — Eden Laase and Bryce Derouin exchanged wedding vows Aug. 31 in Bark River with Justin Bloniarz as officiant.

Eden is the daughter of Al and Kileen Laase of Grand Junction, Colorado. Bryce is the son of Joe and Sandy Derouin of Bark River.

Maids of honor were Emily and Ellen Laase, sisters of the bride. The bride’s attendants were Catherine Tran, Jeremy Franklin, Brittney Bulawa, Chelsey Burns, all friends of the bride, Ellie Jones, cousin of the bride, and Brooke Vermullen, sister of the groom.

Nick Johnson, friend of the groom, was best man. The groom’s attendants were Devin Adams, Nick Burns, Michael Floyd, Erik Powers, Dylan Ranguette, and Tyler Geary, all friends of the groom. Serving as ushers were Ryan Laase, cousin of the bride, Dave Vermullen, brother-in-law of the groom, Cody Polfus and Marvin Cherette, friends of the groom.

Abby Burns was flower girl.

The bride is a 2017 graduate of Gonzaga University and is employed by Boomerang Retro and Relics in Marquette.

The groom is a 2013 graduate of Grand Valley State University and is employed by UPHS-Marquette.

Eden and Bryce are sportswriters and are co-founders of theupbeatsports.com

After a honeymoon in Paris, France, the couple resides in Marquette.
