Wonder Babies — 10:15-10:40 a.m. Peter White Public Library Great Room. Songs, rhymes, stories and finger-plays for newborns to 17 months with a loving adult. Older siblings welcome. New Points syringe service program — New Points syringe service program provides harm reduction services including fresh injection supplies and the disposal of used works for individuals who inject substances. The program is available from 2-5 p.m. at Upper Great Lakes Sawyer Family Health Center.

Domestic Violence Awareness Month — The annual candlelight vigil is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at the Marquette Commons.

Meditation — Join Jeremy Morelock for this weekly meditation class emphasizing mindfulness, loving-kindness and compassion. Peter White Public Library Heritage Room 5:30 -7 p.m.

Cuba — Michelle Leigh Farell, a professor of Spanish and Portuguese at Fairfield University, will discuss new audiovisual landscapes in Cuba when she presents “Is Havana Isolated, or is Washington?” at Northern Michigan University. Her talk is scheduled from 6-7:30 p.m. in 1311 Jamrich Hall.
