Farmers Market — The Downtown Marquette Farmers Market is celebrating its 20th season this summer. It is at the Marquette Commons, 112. S. Third Street, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

Legion conference — Upper Peninsula Association of American Legion Posts will have a fall conference at Lille Lake Post 349. The schedule: 9 a.m. service officers school of instruction; 10:30 a.m. 11th and 12th District meetings; noon-1 p.m. lunch; and 1 p.m. U.P. association meeting. Bazaar — South Fund Committee Women Who care, a non-profit organization, will have a Fall Craft Bazaar from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the West Branch Township Hall, 1016 County Road 545 N. Soup and sandwiches will be available as will the group’s famous pies. Proceeds go toward scholarships, grants which support youth development, and Victory’s food pantry.

Car Show, Craft & Vendor Show — The Trenary Lions Classic Car Show is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the community building grounds in Trenary. There will be a static display in the grassy area and the ice rink area. There is a $5 entry fee with a random drawing at 2 p.m. for those who enter/participate: $40 for first prize, $20 for second prize and $10 for third prize. This Classic Car Show is taking place in conjunction with the Lions Club Craft & Vendor Show which is from 10 a.m. to 3 pm. in the Trenary Community Building. A lunch of soup and sandwiches will be available for purchase. Anyone who would like to participate in the craft-vendor show should contact Megan at 734-790-5711.

Crafts — Forsyth Senior Center Merry Mixers will have a Fall Craft and Harvest Festival from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Gwinn Clubhouse. Lunch will be available. For more information, call 346-9862.

Microchip — A free UPAWS Microchip Clinic is at Fox Negaunee between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Pets will be microchipped and registered with your information for free – fully sponsored by Fox Negaunee. On-site microchipping for 150 pets. First come, first served. Be aware there will be a line and there will be a wait outside. Limit two microchips per household. Dogs and cats only and pets must be over 8 weeks old. Pet owners must be over 18 years old. Owner must bring their own identification, but proof of income, residency, or vaccinations are not required. Use good judgment about your pet’s health and temperament in this type of event. No dogs in “season.” Dogs must remain on leash and in control at all times and cats must be in a secure carrier.

VFW membership — VFW Auxiliary to Post 3165 is seeking patriotic men and women to join them in making a difference in the lives of Negaunee veterans, active-duty military and their families. An information session will take place at Negaunee Township Hall from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
