ISHPEMING — The Friends of the Ishpeming Carnegie Public Library meet at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Leverton Community Room on the lower level of the library.

All who are interested in supporting the library and its programs are encouraged to join the group.

Meetings are held monthly for eight months of the year, with breaks for midsummer and midwinter.

The FOL is a group of citizens committed to the library and the services it provides. They have been supporting the library in a variety of ways for 40 years.

The Friends are eager to welcome new members who share their love of books, reading, and libraries.
