MARQUETTE — The UP North Knitting Guild will have its welcome back to the sixth season of the guild.

The first meeting of the sixth season will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the Peter White Public Library, lower level Room 2.

The guild welcomes returning members and encourage anyone who is interested in knitting, beginner or advanced, to join.

The agenda for this meeting will be a discussion of the special events happening in Marquette that the guild been invited to be involved with.

Any items that were in the fair and won ribbons should be brought to show during show and tell time. And anything knitted during the summer bring that too and bring any knitting as well.

The guild will collect dues for the year.
