Read to a Shelter Pet — The Literacy Legacy Fund of Michigan and the Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter are joining together to co-host a community event, an ice cream social to promote the Read to your Shelter Pet Program. It will include an ice cream social, and children’s activities including learning about the Read to your Shelter Pet Program, the UPAWS Little Free Library, and a coloring book station.
