Reading Space Station #3 Continued — 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Peter White Public Library Community Room. Baraga County Beer Fest — The Baraga Chamber of Commerce presents its fourth annual Baraga County Beer Fest from 2-6 p.m. at the Waterfront Park at North Front Street in L’Anse. This event will take place rain or shine and will highlight some great Michigan brews from Blackrocks, New Holland, Ballast, Perrin, Midland, Shorts, Cognition, Cheboygan, Big Lake. Ashley Wolf Benefit — A benefit for Ashley Wolf is planned at the VFW Post 4573, 310 Bank St., Ishpeming. Ashley was seriously injured in an ATV crash on July 2. The benefit will help to defray ongoing medical and rehab expenses. The dinner 4-6 p.m. will be by donation and a cash bar will be available. After the dinner, live entertainment will follow. Raffle tickets will be sold for prizes and a 50/50 drawing will take place after the meal. You must be present to win. Buzz the Gut — The 18th Annual Buzz the Gut Car Show & Parade will be held this year at the Cliffs Shaft Mining Museum. Show & Shine from 5-7 p.m. with the parade through Ishpeming and Negaunee starting at 7 p.m. and ending at the Ishpeming Elks Lodge. There will be a dance at the Elks featuring the band Swampberry Moonshine. There will also be food and refreshments available. Door prizes will be given out randomly to registered participants.
