Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh develops his unique style of painting during his self-imposed exile in Arles and Auvers-Sur-Oise, France.

At the same time, he struggles with religion, mental illness, and his friend Paul Gaugin, choosing to focus on eternity rather than his art. Starring Willem Dafoe, Rupert Friend and Oscan Isaac, this 2018 biographical drama is rated PG-13 and runs 111 minutes.

Willem Dafoe won three awards for his portrayal of Van Gogh.

There is no admission fee thanks to sponsorship by the Friends of the Peter White Public Library. For more information, visit www.pwpl.info or call 226-4318.
