NEGAUNEE — Finn Fun Day 10 takes place on Aug. 24, at the Negaunee Township Hall along M-35 south of U.S. 41, starting at 11 a.m. and lasting until 3 p.m.

All are welcome, there is plenty of parking and no admission charge.

Entertainment includes Tanja Stanaway, Ken Holster, Aaren Joki, Wilho Kilpela, Howard Aalto, and Paul Knivilla.

Michael Prusi, Northern Michigan office director for Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, is expected to pay a visit to Finn Fun Day.

The two young Finnish Interns at the Finnish American Heritage Center at Finlandia University will talk about their work at the center, and share their impressions of being in the U.S.

Five vendors will staff the Tori (market), and there will be a White Elephant Table.

Coffee and refreshments will be available at the kitchen window inside, and lunch by UP Dogs will be served outside, all day long.

The event is sponsored by the Finlandia Foundation National Lake Superior Chapter. For more information, call 906-226-7085.
