Home Tour — the Ishpeming Historical Society’s annual “Places and Spaces” Historic Home Tour fundraiser will be from noon to 5 p.m. Three homes, including Cliffs Mather Cottage, will be featured. The Presbyterian Church will also be open, where there will be refreshments. Tickets are a suggested $10 donation to the society, a 501c3 nonprofit organization, and will be available at the door of each location on the day of the event. Open Drop-In Meditation Sit — 5:30-6:30 p.m. An opportunity for individuals with meditation practices to get together in a group setting for 30-minute silent meditation, brief sharing and short loving kindness meditation. Free (donations accepted). Northern Lights Martial Arts, 1310 S. Front St., Marquette. In the Women’s Center Building, south facing side, enter through Studio B.

Film — First Presbyterian Church, in partnership with Pathways Eliminating Stigma Team (PEST), will host a free community film event “No Letting Go” at 6 p.m. in the church’s sanctuary. This is a powerful film presentation about mental illness and how it shapes the course of the lives of those who have a mental illness and the lives of family members. A question and answer session with PEST members will follow.

Biker Church Service and Picnic — is planned at 6 p.m. at Presque Isle Park in Marquette. This is a Christian Motorcyclists Association event.

Those attending should bring their own meal. Beverages will be provided. A short service will begin at 7 p.m. These events will be at the covered picnic area next to the Presque Isle ice cream store.

Spectacular Salad Supper — a Michigamme Museum fundraiser, is planned from 3:30-7 p.m. at the Michigamme Township Building, corner of Barnum and Main streets. Salads, breads, desserts and beverage will be served. Tickets are $6 at the door.

SMART Recovery — is an abstinence based recovery group that meets at 6 p.m. at 102 W. Washington St. Suite 114, Marquette. The program is based on scientific knowledge and reason.
