NEGAUNEE — The Negaunee City Band announces the program for its free concert at 7:30 p.m. Wednesdayat the Outdoor Performing Arts Center at the east end of Iron Street.

A highlight is the Ziegler family performance of Leroy Anderson’s “Bugler’s Holiday,” featuring father Dick Ziegler and sons Thomas and Timothy.

Different genres are visited with “Two Pieces in Folksong Style” and “Pinball Wizard,” the latter from The Who’s historic rock opera, “Tommy.”

A change of pace is offered with Vincent Persichetti’s “Divertimento for Band,” while the American musical is visited with “The Fantasticks,” including the memorable tune, “Try to Remember.”

Marches this week include the classic Spanish march, “Amparito Roca,” “Hall of Fame March,” and Sousa’s tribute to the people of Michigan, “The Pride of the Wolverines.” As usual, the concert concludes with “Just a Closer Walk with Thee.”
