Easter Eggs — the Chocolay Lions annual Easter Egg Hunt will be at the Silver Creek Church, 219 Silver Creek Road, Harvey, from 11 a.m. to noon. The Easter Bunny will cut the ribbon at 11:15 a.m. Refreshments will be served before and during the event. Twelve specially marked Lions Golden Eggs will be out in the field. They can be redeemed for special prizes like bikes, scooters, fishing poles and others.

It’s recommended adults bring their cameras to take pictures of kids with the Easter Bunny.

Repair Cafe — The Transition Marquette County Repair Cafe will be open again in the Marquette Arts and Culture Center, on the lower level of the Peter White Public Library in Marquette. From noon to 4 p.m. on that day, the public is invited to bring in small household items in need of repair. Volunteer repair talent will be on hand to work on computers and electronics, sewing machines, small appliances, clothing, lamps, and other household items. The focus is on helping people learn to repair their own items, thus saving money and keeping material out of landfills. There is no charge for this service; a $5 donation is suggested to support the program.

Earth Day — Partridge Creek Farms will present an Earth Day celebration event. The event will take place at the Ishpeming Elks Lodge, 597 Lakeshore Drive. From 3-5:30 p.m., guests can enjoy a mini health fair, speakers, healthy food, berry planting, and more. The schedule of events: 3-4 p.m. mini health fair; 4-4:30 p.m. speakers; and from 4:30-5:30 p.m. plant berries. At 4:30 p.m., some 100-plus volunteers will be organized to plant the entire garden site with berries in less than one hour. The public is welcome.

Library talent — local talent Troy Graham will be at the Negaunee Public Library this date. He will hold a creative writing workshop at 5 p.m., and a family-friendly musical performance with harmonica player Colton Ort at 6 p.m. The public is invited to attend these free events.

SMART Recovery — is an abstinence based recovery group that meets at 6 p.m. at 102 W. Washington St. Suite 114, Marquette. The program is based on scientific knowledge and reason.
