Cross-walk — the Marquette Clergy Association presents its fourth Annual “Cross-walk,” a witness to a few Marquette area social service agencies and to a few world-wide issues. A group will gather at First Presbyterian Church (Blaker Street) at 8 a.m. and walk about 2 miles with several stops along the way with a light potluck breakfast back at First Presbyterian. All are welcome to participate.

Health care screenings — U.P. Home Health & Hospice announces its free health care screenings for the month of April throughout Marquette County. Included in the free screenings are blood pressure, pulse and glucose checks and a $5 charge to have cholesterol level checked. Bingo — Bell Auxiliary is sponsoring a senior luncheon and bingo every third Friday of the month. The luncheon/bingo will be at the Ishpeming Senior Center from noon to 2 p.m. There is no charge. Fish fry — American Legion Post 349 in Little Lake will have a fish fry from 4-7 p.m. It will be the last fish fry until fall. The choices on the menu are walleye, whitefish (baked or fried), perch, cod (baked or fried), 21-piece shrimp, fantail shrimp or a combo fish platter. All these dinners include french fries or baked potato, coleslaw and roll. Non-fish choices are chicken strips and fries or hamburger and fries. Call 346-6000 for more information.

Fish fry — The Ishpeming VFW Post 4573, 310 Bank St., will have a fish fry each Friday from 4-7 p.m. The menu features a variety of fish, baked or fried, ribeye steak, chicken and burgers. Each dinner include baked potatoes or fries, applesauce, cole slaw, roll and dessert. Take-outs are available. Call 906-486-4856.

Fish fry — American Legion Post 44, 700 W. Bluff St., Marquette, will have fish fry from 5-7 p.m. Whitefish or shrimp is available for $11 whiile chicken strips are $9. There is a choice of baked potato or french fries. Salad bar included with all meals. The Auxiliary with be holding a bake sale during the fish fry. This meal is open to the public.

Teen Night — is 6-10 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Gwinn. Free movies, games and popcorn. Call 346-6115.
