High School Art Show — Starting this date, Peter White Public Library TeenZone. Marquette Alternative High School students have created original posters expressing their opinions on social issues of importance to them. Art teacher Joy Bender-Hadley instructed her students to use no words, or as few words as possible, in designing their posters. Fall bazaar — St. Michael Catholic Church’s Altar Society in Marquette will host its annual Fall Bazaar from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A White Elephant sale will take place in the Monsignor Dunleavy Hall, corner of Heard Court and Kaye Avenue. Items available include crafts, baked goods, collectibles, children’s items, jewelry, books, holiday items, and many miscellaneous household goods.
