St. Christopher’s Harvest Bazaar — will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will feature crafts, books, a bake sale and a country store. Lunch will be available. The church is located at the corner of Badger and Ontario in Marquette Township.

High School Art Show — Starting this date, Peter White Public Library TeenZone. Marquette Alternative High School students have created original posters expressing their opinions on social issues of importance to them. Art teacher Joy Bender-Hadley instructed her students to use no words, or as few words as possible, in designing their posters. The public is welcome to stop by the TeenZone anytime to view these pictures that are worth a thousand words. Free. Christmas Craft Show — Skandia Lions Club Community Christmas Craft Show is set for 10 a.m. to noon at the

Skandia Community Center, 224 Kreiger Drive. A variety of crafts and other homemade goods will be available for purchase at the show.

Fall bazaar — St. Michael Catholic Church’s Altar Society in Marquette will host its annual Fall Bazaar from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A White Elephant sale will take place in the Monsignor Dunleavy Hall, corner of Heard Court and Kaye Avenue. Items available include crafts, baked goods, collectibles, children’s items, jewelry, books, holiday items, and many miscellaneous household goods. A soup, salad and dessert luncheon will be served from 11 a.m.-1 p m. Cost of luncheon is $7 for adults or $3 for children under 12. Sweeney Todd — Northern Michigan University’s Forest Roberts Theatre will present the dark and haunting musical “Sweeney Todd” at 1 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 for the public, $10 for students and $5 for NMU students. Polka/Variety Dance — at American Legion Hall with Polkarioty – Richie & Gabe Yurkovich is set from 2-5 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, 3050 County Road 496, Ishpeming. Polka, waltz, two-step, others will be featured. Admission is $8 and luncheon available.

The Hiawatha Music Co-op — will hold its Annual Members gathering and dance at the Barrel n Beam Brewery starting at 5:30 p.m. The members meeting is a time for past, present and future co-op members to gather to review 2018 Hiawatha events, select new board members, learn more about future Co-op activities, learn how to become involved in the co-op and enjoy the traditional tunes of The String Doctors. The co-op board of directors provides a complimentary entree for its members and asks everyone to bring a side dish to pass. A cash bar will be available. The business meeting will begin at 6:15 p.m. Updates on the co-op and festival budget report will be reviewed. Following the meeting, the co-op will host a dance that is open to the public at 8 p.m., featuring homegrown traditional music by The String Doctors. The dance is $5 for the public and will be free for members who attend the business meeting and children under 12 accompanied by an adult. Honor Flight Benefit — An Upper Peninsula Honor Flight benefit is planned at the Negaunee Eagles Aerie 1944. Dinner is at 6 p.m. featuring Onie’s Famous Oven Fried Chicken with all the trimmings for $7. Country Tradition will be providing music from 7-11 p.m. All are welcome.
