MARQUETTE — The Peter White Public Library invites film fans to watch “Lady Bird” at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the library’s Community Room on the lower level.

Bring dinner to enjoy the movie in a dinner theater setting with other movie lovers.

Growing up in 2002 Sacramento, California, Catholic high school senior Christine McPherson longs for adventure and opportunity. This coming-of-age story follows her as she experiences her first romance, participates in the school play, and applies for college. Directed by Greta Gerwig and starring Saoirse Ronan, Laurie Metcalf and Tracy Letts, this 2017 comedic drama is rated R and runs 94 minutes.
