Program on Fitzgerald storm set

MARQUETTE — The Edmund Fitzgerald freighter was lost with her entire crew of 29 men on Lake Superior on Nov. 10, 1975, and the legend of the Edmund Fitzgerald is the most famous shipwreck tale of the Great Lakes.

Join the Marquette Maritime Museum and Mike Zika of the National Weather Service for “The Storm that Sank the Edmund Fitzgerald” at 7 p.m. Tuesday. This program is part of the Maritime History on Tap series at the Ore Dock Brewing Company and is sponsored in part by a grant from WE Energies. Suggested admission donation is $5.
