Knitting guild to meet

MARQUETTE — The UP North Knitting Guild meet from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Big Boy in Marquette.

New members are still welcome to join the guild and can pay dues at this time. At the meeting, guild members will talk about a December knitting along night. And about the winter fest to be held in January.

There will be a class of German Short rows. Members are to bring a pair of #8 stright needles and some worsted yarn. Members are reminded to bring show and tell items and a current knitting project. Any community knit items that are finished should be brought to the meeting as well.
