MARQUETTE — Ishpeming-Negaunee-NICE Community Schools is taking registrations for the 24th annual Youth Day (Safe Hunting and Shooting Event) sponsored by the U. P. Whitetails Association and the Negaunee Rod and Gun Club.

This Youth Day is free to all youths ages 8-16, to be held at the Negaunee Rod and Gun Club Sept. 8, with registration starting at 8 a.m.

Space is limited to the first 140 entries. Last day to register is Aug. 31. Equipment and ammo provided. Archery equipment (in cases) permitted. No personal guns allowed.
